Ruby Bessie Brooks Cline, 87 of Killen, died Sunday, June 15, 2014 at her residence.
Services will be 11AM Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home, Chapel with James Watters officiating, burial will be at Hasting Cemetery, visitation is from 6-9PM Tuesday at Spry’s.
Mrs. Cline was born September 9, 1926 in Limestone County and attended the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors: Sons: Jackie Cline of Pulaski, TN; Johnny Cline of Pulaski, TN and Timothy Cline of St. Louis, Missouri; Daughters: Julia Henson of Lewisburg, TN; Brenda Hunt of Killen, AL; Darlene Fralix of Pulaski, TN and Susan Morris of Jackson, TN; Brother: David Brooks of Killen, AL; Sisters: Mabel Black of Killen, AL and Susie Wakefield of Benton Harbor, Michigan; 23 Grandchildren; 33 Great Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by Husband: John W. Cline and Daughter: Nancy Walls.
Bessie Ruth Bowling Abercrombie Junkins, 87 of Guntersville, the Georgia Mountain Area died Thursday, May 1, 2014 in Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Junkins was born March 13, 1927 in Morgan County the daughter of Luther and Ella Lawrence Bowling. She was a high school graduate and has lived in the Georgia Mountain area of Guntersville since 1972. She was an assembly worker for G T E and a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law: Carolyn and Glenn Marlar, Jackie Marlar, Annette McAnally, Ellen and Allen Blouir and Beth Fowler; 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 5 great, great grandchildren and a sister and brother-in-law: Lutherine and Glenn Greenhaw; several nieces, nephews, other family members, her church family and many dear friends and neighbors; preceded in death by her 1st husband: G. Harold Abercrombie (1967), 2nd husband: G. W. “Bunk” Junkins, Jr. (1988), her parents, three brothers, three sisters and a son-in-law. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Brother Chuck Oden and Brother Gary Peebles, officiating. Burial will be in New Canaan Cemetery, the Union Hill Community of Somerville, Alabama in Morgan County, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
