Glenton Weaver, 71, of Grant, passed away Monday.
He worked for Marshall County School Systems for 17 years where he was always known as “Rambo”.
He was preceded in death by father, James Willis Weaver, mother, Veder Mazie Saint Weaver, half brother, Levoy Weaver.
Surviving are wife of 53 years, Helen M. Weaver, son, Glenn A. Weaver, son, Tim K. Weaver, son, Casey L. Weaver, and several nieces & nephews,
Pallbearers will be Anthony Cameron, Rossie Cameron, Anthony Walker, James Chambless, Roy Guffey, Bill Guffey.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home, Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Bro. Charles Willmon officiating.

Robert Floyd Weaver Sept. 20, 1938-July 8, 2014 Robert Floyd Weaver, age 75, of Birmingham, AL passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. He was a graduate of Susan Moore High School. Robert enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1958 and was honorably discharged in May of 1962. He was an undergraduate of UAB and received his MBA at Samford University. He retired from Alabama Power after 34 years of service, as a Real Estate Manager. Robert enjoyed restoring and collecting old cars, traveling, and gardening. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Oden Weaver; his only son, Derek Weaver (Misti); his grandchildren, Zackary, Landon, and Harrison Weaver; his brother, James R. Weaver (Lana) his sisters and brother-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 11th at 12PM. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow at Centre Methodist Church in Oneonta, AL on County Road 36. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville is directing.

Sarah Ruth Weaver Richardson, age 89, of Scottsboro, passed away at her residence on May 15, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 3:00pm at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband – Ben Richardson; grandson – Ben (Chrissy) Bonner; great grandchildren – Elizabeth Bonner and Catherine Bonner. She was preceded in death by her daughter – Linda Bonner. Mrs. Richardson was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Friendship Sunday School Class and WSCS. She was a very loyal and supportive wife. The family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church on Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 1:30pm till time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church at 1105 South Broad Street, Scottsboro, Alabama in Mrs. Richardson’s honor.
